News Update: JUNE2013 - The Early Learning Centers of RI – East Providence Location – hosted the Rhode Island Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RISPCA) on 04JUNE2013. The RISPCA provided a presentation to the school followed by answering questions. ELC of RI matched a large donation made by the teachers and families as well as donating food for the sick and injured animals rescued by the RISPCA. Students at the center even helped load the bags and cans of food for the animals into the RISPCA vehicle. It was a great event for everyone, and the kids really loved seeing the guinea pig the RISPCA brought as their ambassador of rescued animals.

News Update: 01MARCH2011 - NEW LOOK FOR ELC OF RI...In a continuing effort to improve our service to our families, our vehicles are being renovated and re-lettered.  We do purchase new vehicles, but some currently owned vehicles can sometimes simply be mechanically renovated and updated with lettering.  All vehicles go through several inspections to include company required quarterly inspections undertaken by Elmwood Dodge, and a yearly state inspection undertaken by the RI DMV inspection station.  The savings gained can then be used to improve other areas of our centers, such as playgrounds or the computer centers.  Other options include using the funds to add additional programs/activities requested by our families.  Look for the vans with our new blue logo and tell us what you think!!!
